9/9/09 Starboard gets “urban like” in St. Augustine, Florida
North East on-shore winds is making it LOUSY for SUP’n this week … choppy, windy … no swell. The most interesting SUP to be had was found in Old St. Agustine town. I opted for the urban “Fountain” route since the “locals” were a giving me stink eye at the park. These guys seem to patrol every fresh water pond and don’t take to outsiders kindly.
SUP Central and the local Starboard SUP hook up here is Ocean Extreme Sports … Since 1999 Ocean Extreme Sports and Extreme Kites has offered the largest selection anywhere of kitesurfing and kiteboarding gear.
