8/27 Beach Boy Events visits “Cape Surf” in Cocoa Beach, Fla. to show off Starboard’s SUP line-up available through Trident Sports.

It’s another hot, hazy day in Fla. and the folks are looking to cool down … some more than others, check out the stoked lime green Speedo guy!  Florida FASHION rocks!

So I’m 6,000 miles away from my home in Maui and I run into Chris Cook at Cocoa Beach Pier.  Chris is from St. Pete Fla. and his partner Dan Hart is as well.  They both just completed the Molokai Oahu crossing in 7:22!  Who says the SUP stoke is slow in getting to the East Coast?  These guys are committed! 

I also ran into crazy SUP man John Bragg who’s totally hooked on SUP (rides a custom 7′11″) and is competing in as many Fla. contests as possible … usually placing in the top 3!  This guy is on it and he’s looking for a sponsor; he’ll no doubt be picked up soon … He’s livin it.

Cocoa Beach Life Guard Iain McFarland was also out today sampling the quiver … his favorite was the Sport Tech version of the Gun which is a 10′3″ x 28.5″ Austrailian Pine inlay.  He’s looking forward to riding it again in an upcoming event!  His girl Tess was a little hesitant to ride but modeled the yellow Tiki rather well.
